Task
This is a group assignment. In this assignment, we are required to choose a street that we have done from assignment 1 and present the information in a research poster through a video presentation. We have to select a specific topic and conduct research by identifying its issues and generating a title and conceptual framework with factors and solutions.
Reflection
Throughout this assignment, I have learned to identify the issues and the potential solution of the selected street. The information is broken down through a conceptual framework to make the points clear and understandable for readers. This assignment made me realise the importance of restoring and preserving our traditional shophouses to keep their architectural identity for the next generation. Next, I have also learned to work in a group by conducting meetings regularly and keeping every member participating in this assignment. The group members also went on site visits together to understand more in-depth about the selected street. With this, I have also created a strong bond with the group members which helps to make the whole working process smooth and fun. The thing that we can improve on is being more confident and clear while presenting our research poster. We could have added more videos and pictures to engage the viewers by understanding more about the issues we pointed out.
